So last weekend I saw her and made an offer which was accepted. The survey was carried out today, which I went along to. All good news, just wanted to share that and thank you all for I have learnt just so so much from silently searching (lurking?) in the vaults of this forum. Not sure if roof was non-slip but I can easily check, I was hoping that a fix - if not perfect but def. progress - was DIY'able. Survey is a definite and I'll go with surveyor should things progress to that point. I have seen so many people say it's a must and I certainly don't know enough. Hi Firstly, I have read and learnt sooo much from past threads on here - so thank you all for sharing your knowledge Would love to get some advice/comments on a boat I saw/fell in love with this afternoon. On the roof there were a fair few rust spots, though the sides were corrosion free. Nothing much bigger than 5cm diameter so I'm thinking not necessarily an immediate repair? But I'm not sure how I'd go about fixing this. Could the rust spots be patched/fixed simply or would this be a bigger job?

Hi, I'm Lisa, I recently discovered this site. I'm looking to buy a boat and liveaboard but will continue to rent a house for a while too so I can adjust blah blah! I live a few minutes from a canal and became interested in boats last year as I spend lots of time photographing, walking, running and cycling along the towpath.
