    our boat is 12ft wide so to get us through bridges etc i cut a piece of 1" x 1/4 ally bar the length of which is from the bottom of the tiller to just short of the deck ( so when not needed it hangs out of the way ) it has a leather loop to go around the tiller and the other end is wrapped with non slip tape .i can now stand at the side of the rear deck and judge the gaps easier than before .

    when i originally fitted out our boat i fitted an Attwood pump to the shower . it worked ok but as we do not use the boat much every time we used the shower we found the float stuck and the filter screen blocked with slimey ? soap residue ( wifes conditioner ! ). so i am changing it for a whale gulper .

    Me again , ok just checked and I can reply , as I am , to other topics except the one I want to ? so why do I have to look at stuff and comment on it , just to enable me to comment on stuff I want to , I come on here for a bit of fun and to stop me buying things on ebay !
