for a half-power version as well.

They have these lower wattage tubes at Midland chandlers. You may not expect this but they are cheaper than Bedazzled. However the tubes I bought from Bedazzled are excellent.

a few years back and the total refill was exactly 90 litres to the brim.

Recently the fuel boat here topped my half empty tank up while I was at work and billed me for 97 litres

Mtb, your alarming lack of good luck finding equipment that works or measures accurately is still running. We can now add fuel pumps to Smart gauge, batteries, Eco fan etc etc. Hope this run of luck changes soon, (all in good fun, you know).

Tank is definitely in in poor condition. We haven’t got hold of a magnifying glass but do think they are small corrosion holes (not sure how it gets corroded?).

If the tank is in poor condition, I would pump out asap and invest in a cheap porta loo. It would not be good if the sides of the tank that you cannot see are worse than the sides you can. No amount of bitumen would hold the contents inside. The clean up doesn't bare thinking about.

  4. Hello, not a dry dock, however I just had a week at Yelvertoft on hard standing. Boat pulled out of water no crane. No problems working as late as you like, showers available on site, water point if you need it and really good pressure wash if wanted. No connection, just very happy customer. May be worth a call. Price was good.

This was a much better experience than dry docks that I have used in the past.

  5. Hello, I have put this name up before. Robert Naghi, have a look at his web site. He will give advice and carry out work to any standard you choose and will travel to you if needed. No connection but thought this to be a good option.   p.s looks like he does work for some well respected boat builders.

  6. Hello, we have the same water heater and also found high gas use when the pilot was left on. Have just checked the manual but no information on how gas much is used in stand by as it were.  Here is their UK contact number, 01928 531870. If you have a spare five minutes a quick call would give definite answer.

    Garry.
