  1. ps. ...ventilate the area... ...get a through draft going through the boat...
  2. ...check all nooks and crannies for piss & poop... ...most of it will have migrated into the base of the unit... ...use a rag to mop up the wet poopy-pee-pee... ...if the poop has dried out scrape as much up as you can with a wall paper scraper or somthing similar... ...apply a mild solution of bleach using a sponge & bowl (1 cap of bleach to half a bucket of water...say)... ...then just let in dry... ...it worked for me... ...if there is still a smell, repeat the above, just more diligently... ...NaOH...IS the universal cleaning agent... ps don't bother with the onions, you'll just end up with a poo-ey smell infused with onion...
  3. Hello Everybody! ...i'm currently moored in a pound where the water level can vary by as much as a foot and my mooring ropes keep loosening off... ...might mooring springs help to stop this from happening... ...or are there any other alternative solutions? ...thank you...

  5. Hello Everybody! I've been using a Huawei E3131 dongle, which connects up to a TV aerial via a special connector, for almost 2 years now & i think its now past its best. Could anybody recommend a dongle that can be connected upto a TV aerial, or even a way of connecting to mobile internet that may be better. My service provider is 3 mobile, £15 for 10GB per month. Thankyou!

  7. Hello Everyboby! I have a Hobbit Stove. The gaps in the grate keep blocking up with a white/grey solid material, which is very difficult to clean off, its as hard a concrete! What can i do to stop this from happening? I'm using Blaze Excel to keep the stove in over winter. Your replies are greatly welcomed... Thank you
  8. Hello Everybody! I'm looking at getting a printer/scanner to run alongside my Mac Book Pro. I can purchase a standard HP for Mac printer and run it using my 1500W inverter. However, has anybody tried running a 12 volt printer, and if so, how successful was it. I believe there are some 12 volt printers on the market that come with an integral battery. Thank you

Hello Everybody! ...i'm looking to install 2 of these... http://www.quietpc.com/nf-s12a-uln ...in series... ...to circulate warm air around my narrow boat... ...from the point of connection and back is 25 metres... ...can anybody tell me what size of cable i need, cross-sectional area... ...i'm thinking of using good quality speaker wire... ...the system is 12 volt...
