Hi We are considering moving our 53' Hapton from Worcester across to Northern Ireland. Has anyone any experience of doing this type of move and, more importantly, does anyone have any experience of the various marinas on Lough Erne? Any advice gratefully received.

FIONN back a float and very close now to finish shiny. Interior needs finishing, final coat on roof and solar panels to be fitted. Hope to be aboard by the end of June

No, They are still in the drydock at the moment. It has been very handy with the boat being moored at Diglis and available to move in and out as necessary. All of the work is being done by Jason Pinder.

Cheers, it has been a long slog!

Well we did hope for Easter but not sure which year

The windows are going to be trimmed in Beech as will the joinery everywhere else. We are putting Karndean Warm Oak down throughout. Looking forward to the finish and being able to get on the water

Each to their own, personally I intend keeping both my better half and my rebuilt boat

Diglis at Worcester, Jason Pinder's

No, the boat is moored about 50m from the drydock so they move it back and forth as required. Work started a year ago but can't complain about the quality of the work. They are pretty busy so it is taking a while to get done

I would have thought the issues with keeping loose tea dry enough to sell a quality product would have been a pain. Also simply from a practicality perspective, tea is quite bulky ( in sufficient volumes to make a business viable), how do you intend storing it?

Also had the floor supports and roof steel frame reworked to give me another 4" internal height

Decided not to lengthen the hull so it's still 53' but gained another 4' internally by lengthening the cabin. Rear end being reconfigured to tidy it up. Now being primed for paint. New window frames all been powder coated and next phase will be to get stuck into the interior.
