Hi from a newcomer. We are having a widebeam craned out for survey near Ripon, North Yorkshire, on 28th April. Just wondered if there's anyone else in the area, who needs blacking perhaps, that would like to join us to share the cost? As far as I know there are 4 boats at the moment and space for 2 or 3 others. Cheers!

Hello everyone and especially Fatjoff - we may be meeting very soon! We are in a very similar boat (sorry!) to you - we have put down a deposit, are awaiting the survey and we will be mooring in Ripon - coincidence eh?! Anyway, we are being craned out on 28th April, and there's room for some more boats to join us. So if anyone in the area needs their bottom blacking etc, please let us know. Also please let me know if there is a better place on the forum to post this request - many thanks!
