Hi, I have worked in boats most of my life running Godalming Narrow Boats in 70's & 80's and Turk Launches in the 90's. Now retired I spend my summers cruising the inland waterways of Europe and winters in UK (Newbury). I would like to spend next winter (Oct 14 to March 15) cruising UK waterways especially Thames and K & A on a good quality fully heated narrowboat (possibly wide beam). Substantial deposit and rent available as I intend to let my flat here for a year. I can also offer a further 6 months Thames mooring so you can save a year's fees! kprw@waitrose.com
