Thank you all

It is a heavy heart that I give you the following news that none of us wanted to hear. Our amazing & beautiful mum, has sadly passed away. Nottingham Police have informed us that the body recovered by the underwater search team on Tuesday is that of our mum, Elaine Harrison, AKA #FindElaine - Her death is not being treated as suspicious. Thank you to everyone who has helped with the search in any way since December and to Nottinghamshire Police for remaining consummate professionals throughout the search. We thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers in response to this devastating news, as I'm sure you can understand we need to be together as a family to support each other at the moment so while we will read your messages I'm sorry we can not reply to you all. She's now at peace, but will be missed by us all so, so much - RIP Elaine Harrison - Mum xxx

We have another meeting with the police tomorrow afternoon. Once we have information from this meeting I will return to update you all. Thank you for your thoughts - until tomorrow (later today now I suppose!) Andy

Hi - I'm Elaine's son, Andy She is one of the most approachable and friendly person I know. Such a people person I'm baffled as to how she has disappeared in this manner as she usually speaks to everybody and sticks every single persons memory. Thanks for your support so far. I won't give up until we find her!
