Just been up the GU and down the Oxford and found it mostly very pleasant once outside the M25, however over the last few days between Cropredy and Lower Heyford lots of boats were not slowing down past moored boats.
As I'm fairly new at this game (owned a boat for 15 months), is there a polite way to ask someone to slow down without sounding too much like Victor Meldrew?
Also, I'm not sure that people appreciate that the disturbance to a moored boat is more due to the displaced water as a boat moves than the wake from the bow.
