    so thats abt two gerry cans ,my fire is mostly on the lower setting ..i may turn it up high 1st thing ..or when colder ..but if some one is  suggesting i   me i am using 10 gallon a week then im afraid thats a no no ..

    hi well my fire as been on for abt 6 weeks 24/7 why would i say that if it where not so ,its only my assumption that i am using abt 3 gallon it could be more it could be less .,i have not gone into as much details as your self im to busy watching paint dry ..but i take on board what you say ...as i would i do live on a boat ...i am just amazed how much it as used i am well chuffed i thought it would have been a lot more then that ..going by all the stories you here abt such sytems thanks

    hi every one merry xmas to u all, well having sorted my relfek fire  pot and regulator  out, thanks to the guy from lockgate ..i have had it running non stop now for  abt 6 weeks 24/7 only turning off once a week for a couple of  hours  to clean it ,and i have to say  i have  not a problem with it ,up too yet touch wood ...and as i have tried to gauge how much derv its using ..i would guess it abt 3 gallon a week ,which in my mind is nothing saying its being used 24/7 compared to the logs and coal i use to use. the great  thing  abt it. now dust now mess and all the other things that come with coal burner .the only down side to it is i do miss the look of my old coal fire ,,having said that thumbs up for the reflek

    hi at the moment   the paint on my gunnel to the first rubbing strake   is a black matt colour ..i want a change and want to paint over it with a black gloss ..any ideas ..off the best paint i could use just to paint over the matt  thanks

    hi all you loverly boating people .... if only hay ?.. i started to read this thread at the start ,,but it went on and on and on ,,and on and on ,thats enough of the and ons  i think ..so after about 4 pages in  i stopped reading the thread ,.the volockies  as you lot call them ..i like to call the  volunteers myself. do more then a good service then a bad one .but thats only me .saying that ...being a live aboard for a few years ..i have had run ins with most on the cut ..some may have been my fault .but i think not as i think i am perfect .but think on how many nasty know all boaters have you come across ...a dam site more then .nasty volockies .sorry volunteers ..i think ..well i dont think i know that fact ...any way i am going to make my volunteer a nice cup of tea ,,no boaters welcome

    hi every one i have been searching for a two seater sofa. now for a while .i have done dunhelm and most others ..could any one point me some where else ..or even. as any one got one for sale ..on canalworld must be in great condition price know object for comfort thanks

    there are some great peeps in the narrow boating world .you think so ....rickent ..well let me tell you .there are just as many horrible nasty people you will ever want to meet .in it as well ..so i would say to you my friend .just enjoy the times your allowed to enjoy .and leave the rest that you dont enjoy  outside your boat ...and cruise on and on and on and on
