    ok i have sorted the filter out now. and thanks for all the input .so the next thing ,what would be the best thing to use to degrease my engine room before i paint it with two coats of rust bullet ,thanks in advance i was looking at the stuff screw fix sell

    having the flu jab reduces the severity of the flu .and over the years in our case its does just that.so in my understanding  the  covid jab will do much the same thing and more ,yes .im  not a .  scientist.im just some one who listens to the people who know much more then me .and i do as they tell me .be it the right or wrong way .i will always take the scientist advice .and never the advice of some of the clowns on here stay safe .them that dont want to heed what we are told join the circus

    very nice boat as for the asking price thats what it is up for ,another thing is will it go for that ,i think so .my thoughts on bmc engines. if looked after they will go on for ever and ever .otl if you like what your looking at and you get as much info and still like it . go for it and good luck .theres not a boater on canaloworld who have  brought a boat thinking that it was a great boat for great money wrong .they all still come with problems in one way or another .theres no such thing as plane sailing .good luck and enjoy regards

    hi we have the ee dongle .and use the moonraker dtv 1000 aerial .we run netflix amazon firestick and others and that works fine .im sure there are better out there but this the best we have ever had ,and over the years we have  had a few .regards haza

    thanks for that if i do ever use it again i would get it serviced ,but the guy who did it one  time as stopped doing them a mr cudmoore or some thing like that ,also i dont think there are many people who do service the alde comfort .the last time i did have it done was by some one from anglo welsh and that seemed a waste of money to be honest with you

    i have a refleks diesel fire only ,which is very good and my alde is all in place but it never gets used.i was thinking when i dont want to use the reflek ,i could switch over to lpg gas .but  my alde is old and could do with a good and proper service ,or replaced by some thing more modern

    hi every one ,at the moment i have the alde comfort  in my 55 foot boat ,i was thinking abt upgrading ,i would like to leave the two rads in place and get some thing a bit more up to date to run them .is there anything out there what would be fit for purpose,thanks

    i dont see what harm floating abt britain will do any one. good luck too you both they have put it out there thats all ,eithier follow it or dont wheres the problem welcome to canalworld .you will soon get the jist of it .thats if you ever come back

    so there  are   youngsters on the cut .i must have missed them ,the only ones i ever meet are boring old farts joke ,but saying that. 4 maybe 5  years ago we meet a loverly couple with two very polite well dressed  children ,they had this boating life sorted ,she was a vet he self taught the kids ,she would get different contracts as a vet but would not stay any were more then 3 months ,they said it works fine for them and they loved it .what abt when the kids get older i asked ,oh we will cross that bridge when we come to it .i very often wonder and  think how its going for them  ,then a couple of weeks later ,yes we met several.old farts .but thats another story or storys , lol stay safe

    i have used things for sale many times on here and had some great bargains and some not so good .i have even got rid of stuff i thought would be usefull to others ,but when i do try and add some thing to a tread .i am pulled up abt my spelling full stops my grammer  which as  turned in  to insults even .not every one can compose replys like most on here .well i can not for one .,and no   i am not looking for..oh aint that a shame you can shove that .canal world as been very helpful to me and many others ,when i do read stuff on here and i think i should reply to it, but i  dont .threads start of all good but soon slide down hill in time that as allways been the case. oh while im here some boater went by two days ago and they where very great .full of the two tons of logs i gave them .so they have gone ,while we were chatting i asked them if they used this place .there reply never ever dreadful place any way stay safe
