The top of Bingley 5 rise if I'm not mistaken ?

Hopefully around mid April we bought her in 2006 from a couple who had lived on her, she was still called september morn and had a red and green paint job. spent 3 years doin her up, sadly parting with her in 2012. new boat coming soon.

Hi, just above the office lock there is a short stretch of mooring on the offside, (access gained by handcuff key)you couldn't be much closer to the station. We have left our boat there plenty of times with no problems. Bazza

Hi all, I'm still a newby on here and I am looking for some advise from all you knowledgeable fellow boaters. I will be taking delivery of a new WB 57 x 12 at the end of March and was wondering if anyone knows of a boatyard or marina on the L&L that would have cranage or room to put a crane to launch my new boat ? Preferably between Wigan locks and Skipton. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks Bazza

Hi, new on here also, but thought I would comment. we bought a second hand boat with a view to updating during the winter months. Original thoughts were to re-do the galley, so started on that first. Got carried away and ended up ripping the whole boat out,to reorganise completely, I can remember spending xmas day 2006 cutting out the old toilet holding tank (corr what a stink !!!) Anyway, it took me 2 years (every spare minute)to get it to a finished state. Got my pal,an engineer to make me a square that measured 4 foot by 4 foot, great for getting things straight. just sold her and now waiting for the new one to be built by someone else !!!!!
