  1. Hi John I came past Carl street today, and the sign had been taken down, and all signs of a boat yard have gone. (it's a shame they didn't make it into moorings). It's a pity you lost that coat as they are collectors items now even the buttons are fetching £8.50 each.
  2. I worked there from 1999-2001. I then went back to coach driving. Do we know each other? as you asked that question. Regards Eddie
  3. Many thanks to Pete and John for the replies. The boat is Tennaid (62904). All i can tell you about her is, She was first reg in 1974 and is a 32 ft center cockpit. Regards Eddie Thanks John. I will try Jones boatyard ans see if they have any information on her. Regards Eddie
  4. Hi Everyone. I am hoping that someone out there may be able to help me. I bought a Buckingham 32ft cabin cruiser last year, and was told that there were only six of these ever built. What i am asking for is. Can anyone confirm this ?. & and how many are still in use today ?. I have tried every thing i can via the internet but have come up with nothing. Regards Eddie
  5. Many thanks to everybody who responded to my problem. I have now got a mooring with very helpful and friendly owner's. Also i would like to say sorry to anyone that i may of offended with my topic. It's just that in the time i have been away from the canals a lot of things seem to have changed. Once again many thanks and happy boating
  6. Hi everyone. Could somebody tell me what has happend to the canals in the last 9 years. I used to own a cabin cruiser years ago, and we had some great times and meeting some very nice boat people. When my wife died 9 years ago, i sold my boat because of work commitments. Now i have had to retire due to health reasons, i have bought another boat.Problem is trying to find moorings in my local area. One place i contacted said even thou my boat is 32ft in length i would be charged for a 50ft boat,as soon as i said it was a plastic boat. I was told they are not taking any fibreglass boats anymore. Could someone tell me what is going on ?, Yours psv driver
