  20. if those more experienced than me wouldnt mind a read and maybe any comments.....? ok.. ive got most of the bits in place to complete the cooling circuit...i think! out from the top of the engine...to the thermostat housing@74 deg as advised from b 'eck.... then T to header tank and on to skin tank top inlet....from bottom of tank on to the jabsco...then from the jabsco to the g box oil cooler and around and back in the side of engine. also from the thermo housing a loop going to the pressure side of the jabsco...i have noticed some calcium deposits inside the cooling pipes and thought i should ad some sort of strainer in line also?...
  21. i like them so i thought id try to post a pic ... ;-[/uR not sure if its worked..
  22. ill try to take some more recent pics when i get a chance to work on it next week. most of the pics are from early this year/last year tim..the cabin is rivetted on via the formed angle and the roof the same, all the guards are riveted on 150mm flat and 12mm convex the skeg is solid bar with a later added upright and gussets. all the guards have been 'caulked' a steam boilermaker showed me his technique. mtb the windows are from a passenger liner from the 50s gunnels down everything is welded after doing this project i can understand why the rivetting chaps wanted to invent welding.
  23. its a 2-1 reduction with a prm 500... she will draw up to 3' 2"...the ballast is adjustable though via 6 stainless water tanks under the floor each 6" deep (so they fit) they can be pumped out separately which should raise the boat 8-10" oh and the engine is a lister 27/3...
  24. this is the proposed propeller...its a bit of a guess but hopefully it will be close...its a 25/23/4 blade on a 2"shaft...fingers crossed..
  25. yes i did 2 mag drills and about 30 mag cutters....before u say it i havent kept a tab on the cost ... nearly floating...
