  1. Hmmm not my style at all and not something I personal would keep but love seeing what others do. http://www.apolloduck.co.uk/image.phtml?id=327131ℑ=1
  2. A tiled superstructure? that sound interesting I can’t picture how that would look..
  3. Good point Robbo that would have to be considered. Oh that’s different not sure it’s by cup of tea but if it work for him/her :-)
  4. Morning All, I was wondering has anyone seen or thought about the idea of cladding a narrowboat instead of painting it? I have a big passion for Narrowboats which I guess I little unusual for a 25 year old lad however I would like to be a little different and make a narrowboat a little more modern from the exterior and love ceder cladded buildings so thought could this be done on a narrowboat? 5. Visited New Islington Marina today it's still undergoing a lot of work but looking good and ideal for anyone wanting to be in the city.
  6. Hi All, I came across this forum the other day and have really enjoyed reading all the different topics. I don’t yet own an narrowboat yet but I hope to very soon, I lived on my brothers boat for 6 months he wanted me to give it ago before buying my own just encase it wasn’t for me. Well I loved it and want my very own even more now :-) My question is does anyone know if the new home buy scheme (FirstBuy) that was set up by the government can be used to purchase a narrowboat, I fully expect the answer to be an overwhelming no but interested to know anyway and if the answer is no I wonder why it couldn’t.
