How long is a piece of string ? So to answer your question, how long per day do you intend to cruise, will you be stopping & looking around the places you pass through, will you cruise even in heavy rain or wind, will you be ice breaking during the winter ?????
So it will take as long (or short) as you want to make it !

I visited my prop last night only to find it was clear. It is easy enough to reach from the counter. The counter is low compared with some other boats. Unfortunately the fact it was clear means the minor vibration I have must be caused by something else. Perhaps I have tweaked one of the blades slightly although there was no obvious damage.
Once found that a new vibration was caused by an engine mounting coming loose causing the prop coupling to rattle

Park Farm Moorings, about a mile Barbridge side of Stanthorne Lock on the offside, contact Peter Oakes on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/peter.oakes.90?fref=hovercard

Even in wide locks boats can get jammed by fenders if sharing with another boat, seen it & only just managed to avoid them getting serious damage !

Yes 12v, but on a boat with normal charging systems sometimes running up to 14.8 or 15volts they may not take the higher voltage, ideally look for bulbs with a voltage range of 5 to 30 volts to guard against premature failure.

Looking at it from another angle, if you reduce the voltage, will the light get dimmer ?

Has the stoppage been lifted ? Nothing on Stoppages saying still closed. Had e-mail regarding closure, but nothing regarding repairs completed.
Thanks

Make a seat out of foam & leatherette, shaped to fit the space between the handrail & cabin slide, removeable & comfort. Other than that a step by the doors to heave yourself up ! Much safer.

I have heard of fuel being stolen by removing the air vent & inserting a syphon pipe & replacing the vent fitting.
As above, posted whilst slowly typing !

Saw "Big Al" tied up on the Llangollen last year, at the smallholding on the offside of the canal just north of where the Nantwich Road crosses the canal about a Mile East of Wrenbury (Br 15 I think) Did not see anyone with it tho.

Hope you reported/complained about this to the local waterways office.

Also there is a house with it's own offside mooring in Middlewich between Bridges 168 (Wardle canal) & 169 which was advertising short term moorings last summer, give him a call on 01606 27zero1four8

Report this supplier to HMRC as that is not legal !

Similar pegs on the Tardebigge flight. Have used them when bow hauling a Hotel boat butty.
