  1. You get what you pay for, we had a Springer in the family for many years and it was a great little boat and didn't cost us much,

we now own a Jonathan Wilson boat, a beautiful boat but it cost a lot more.

It all depends on your budget.

  2. Luxurious way to do it if you have piles of spare money lying around.

I've a sneaky suspicion Duck Gurl hasn't the cash to take your advice.

I WISH !!! no money just plenty of debt but at least we've got something we always wanted

and we enjoy every second we're on it and no regrets,

Now if only we can sell the house we'll clear the debt

  3. We decided to down size house and up size boat a while ago and therefore we put our house up for sale,

that was nearly 4 years ago !!! Anyone want to buy a house ????? it's still for sale so good luck to

you, I hope you have better luck than we've had with the house but as they say, "life's too short"

so we've bought a bigger boat anyway and we'll sell the house as and when

  4. when you had the survey done with these people ,did the surveyor let you shadow him and did he explain things in a newbie speak biggrin.png

I had Ian Jones and he insisted that if at all possible I should attend and 'shadow' him,

I did and it was very useful even though I was over 100 miles away I made sure I was there
