Thanks for the advice- i ll go for two boats. We live in West Yorks but are willing to travel so any suggestions as to where beginners would be best going will be gratefully received. Thanks again.

Help please!! I m part of a group of friends who go away very year for a weekend and its my turn to book somethng his year. This year everyone fancies including a boat in the weekend. My problem is that there are 14 in the group and boat hire seems to go up to 12. So now I m wondering if I can find a boat that we can use to get to a destination eg can we hire a canal narrowboat or something simlar -perhaps without beds - and perhaps use it to get to a cottage or hotel etc My idea is that if we wont need to to sleep in it I ll find one that can take 14?? We are a responsible group of 7 middleaged couples who like the idea of hiring a boat but I cant see us having enough space for sleeping in. At a pinch I could get two boats that will take us to our destination. Hope someone can help.! Any, and I mean any suggestions will be welcomed. . Many thanks. Paul
