can anybody tell me what is the best paint to use on grp boats and what do you use to do the hull please, this will be the first time we have done the hull thank you

hi i want to move the trentcraft so we can work on it properly, my partner has bought new gear cables ect going from front to back, but we are leaving inboard in until we can get it out and make a well, he has put an out board on at the moment but the cables are not long enough so he is going to drive it like a narrowboat from the back with a prop, any idea how we can use the gears by ataching something to the prop thanks

thank you everyone who answered me about the trentcraft, and yes it is forward control, with a sea wolf engine, which i think we will take out, thanks again everyone most helpful maria

hi ive had my trentcraft for nearly four years now paid £7,500 for it i was told it had a small oil leak, after waiting over twelve months for the repair yes i did sent it off to a proper person with a good reputation, it cost nearly £1,000 in all, my partner put it all back together went up the canal for a short trip got to anderton services, all great then we pushed off to the middle of canal and guess what hit a boulder at the bottom, lost prop drive everything, hence give up as we were told it could not be repaired again, so with not much money tried fitting outboard bought new cables ect to fit engine, tried it out and hence got a big chunk of wood stuck in the prop, im think this boat is cursed we have had no luck with it at all any advice, thank you
