thanks for all the replies, i think i,ll try putting my poles up front and let them lean against the chimney coller for support, cheers

hi, i,ve got a 30ft nb, and every time, it seems,i get the centre rope caught or snagged on the pole and plank racks, so, i,m thinking of getting rid of them, i think i,ll only need a pole and that can be stowed nearer the bow end, any thoughts would be greatly recieved, cheers for now
