Can anyone help me find a canal boat to rent or share in Birmingham? I'm coming down to work in Birmingham for July August and September and would like to have a go at living on a boat. I am happy to rent my own [depending on what it costs] or to share with someone, and would like to invest a bit of time learning about life on a boat. I'm interested in somewhere in cycling distance to Birmingham city centre. It seems that short terms rentals are quite rare, that my dates are peak boating season and that there's no standard way of going about finding a boat to rent so I hope that some of you out there can help? Thanks. J
