Hi folks, this is a genuine issue. I have spoken to the poster and over the last couple of days there has been a sighting of the boat near Barby on the North Oxford near to Bridge 80

Ive not heard of one but there was an attempt to angle grind the Watford ones about 1 month ago.

thanks Cheshire rose I appreciate your support. I know that the people on this board are genuine people but also that they are rightly demanding. My last effort to find Moonlight Dancer was proof that once they are given the correct info they/you are a force to be reckoned with. I know some of the posters personally and they are good people.

all points taken on board, I agree that it wasnt the best enquiry I have been involved with and that the info I gave you was less than complete but I did try with the best intentions. FYI there has still been no sightings of the boat and by now we have virtually covered the whole country so It is fair to assume that the boat has gone off the system or been camouflaged or whatever. again thanks for getting involved. It is much appreciated. In case I missed other answers We enquired at Watford Locks who keep a record of boats moving through and although this is not foolproof we are pretty confident it didnt go that way.

Matty I think I posted earlier that the paint job was fairly new so only 1 photo was taken in the new livery. It had only been in this owners possession for a short period of time anyway. We have nearly completed our checks in thesouth of the country and as yet still no sightings.

youre probably correct but I want to wait until we have done the whole GU south before I give up.

basically there was only one photograph since it was repainted faily recently. The one we do have ahs issues with the light exposure so its the best we can do im afraid.

Hi folks again still no sightings from our boatcheckers. This week all the southern GU and paddington arm and regents canal are being done so if no sightings then somewhere like the Nene could be the only place left for it. We are checking the marinas as well this week.

all good points, the main problem is that we know it had gone from where it was moored by 17th May so it had a good week to get where it is going. I dont think it went north towards watford locks but someone thought they had seen it (our lock keepers have no record) It could have gone in the window when the northampton arm was open, thats the way it came on to us in the first place other than that south or north on the grand union/oxford etc I know its a long shot.

I have spoken to the insurance investigator who will shortly be placing the details of the theft of the boat on stolenboat.org He has told me that htere is a reward payable for information leading to the recovery of the boat subject to its condition and circumstances. Hi folks, just got in and read the posts. thanks to everyone who has assisted with the photos. As you can see it had some glare on it. I would like to let you have the original but I am due to hand it over to the insurance investigator soon. I am in the office until about 2.30 then im off to the gayton area. still no sightings by our team. But once again I'm amazed by your level of interest, its very reassuring.

STILL NO SIGHTINGS ON OUR RECORDS I will check every morning.

Hi folks yes a crime number has been obtained and If possible I will get a better photo. I agree that the one we have isnt that good. Unfortunately my vehicle is in dock until this evening.
