  1. Website Name: Wilderness Boat Owners Club Website URL: www.wilderness.org.uk Website Description: The internet home of the famous trailable Wilderness boat owners club. The website has a lot of information on the adventures of these small but full height craft, which frequent not only the busy waterways of Britain but those cut off from the main system in the UK, as well as the waterways of Europe. These manoeuvrable craft are often seen at canal restoration festivals, supporting those who work so hard to get their waterways back into a cruising condition. The website also has information on slipways in the UK and abroad. Any other comments:
  2. It is with great regret and much sorrow that the Wilderness Boat Owners Club committee announces that Keith Hadden, our Chairman since the post was created in May 2001, passed away suddenly on Tuesday 9th November 2010 on his way home from work. Keith was well known with his partner Pat Mason and their Wilderness Beaver "Arwyn" as they attended over many years, the BCN challenge, many other waterways festivals and restoration projects and cruised the many waterways of Britain and abroad. He was also a member of the IWA Chiltern branch and was the WBOC AWCC rep with Pat from 1995 until he became our chairman. The funeral will take place at the Chiltern's Crematorium near Amersham, in the Milton Chapel at 2.30pm Monday 29th November 2010 An obituary has been placed on to the club website: http://www.wilderness.org.uk and if people are interested, further details about the funeral and associated arrangements can be found here: http://www.wilderness.org.uk/?p=1350 We thought that many of his friends may watch this list and may have not heard that he had suddenly passed away. Kind Regards Bill Perry WBOC webmaster On behalf of the WBOC Committee
