Macclesfield canal and Back Again

Started our trip from Sutton Weaver in Frodsham, Never quite make first lock at Dutton,(which is 9.30am) but why rush!! Beautiful weather, saw lots of new life on the river, baby ducks, a young cormorant and a family of swans Two locks to get through, Dutton and Saltersford and then on to the Anderton lift. Had lunch on the holding moorings at the lift while we waited for our slot and met up with three members of our club here and shared the lift with them. Still an amazing experience and alw
