Car Insurance for Liveaboards Query

Hi Guys,

 

I've seen this question asked before although the thread  was a couple of years old.

 

My question is, can anyone tell me if they have insurance where the Insurance Company know you don't live in bricks and mortar, have a c/o address (bricks and mortar) and another postcode where the vehicle is normally at night (ie Marina), and what Insurance Company are happy to do this.

 

Please no answers like 'just lie' as I don't want to give the insurers any wriggle room, I've just had a nightmare with my current insurer, for the vehicle  being registered in my partner's name, despite me telling them that and being told that wasn't a problem when i took it out (now waiting for voice recording of the calls).

 

I look forward to names of decent insurers please :-)
