  1. PeterF,

    That's really useful - thanks.

I had not seen this workshop manual before, having had only the installation manual and user manual.

So I reckon I need to reduce the waterflow so the water gets hotter and that will cause the heater to go into eco mode rather than being on full chat all the time. Does that make sense?

  2. blackrose, thanks you for your continued input.

The unit is a Thermotop Evo 5 kW heater with a variable heat output between 5kW and 2.5Kw.

The radiators in total are rated at 4.8kW.

I don't need to touch the rads it is just that they are so hot I can feel the heat a couple of feet away and I touched one to realise they are really hot.

The temp of the radiators at the feed is about 75 degC and at the return is about 55 degC

How can I adjust the heater so it only produces 2.5kW?

    Stephen

Blackrose, missed your comment about the rads. They are two panel radiators.

  3. Hi Stuart, like many others I have got trips going back years and have most of the .gpx files still.

So, many thanks for all that you have done to make this happen and continue over the years.

Now, there used to be a facility to print out one's total coverage map but, I have noticed that it hasn't worked for quite a while.

Would it be possible to reinstate that for a short while so that we could create and print such maps before it shuts down and the data is lost?

Hello Steve, welcome to the forum. Are you related to Charlie Carter?

Thanks for the welcome. Don't know any Charlie Carters.

Welcome to the forum, Steve. I'm sure I've seen your boat - I noticed the Cornish name because I have a customer who lives in Chyandour Terrace in Penzance. Do you travel the South Oxford?

We did come up the South Oxford a few weeks ago, so you may have seen us then. Or boat is mainly black. There is one other Chyandour on the system; it is mainly blue and lives on the Erewash Canal.
