Dpaws I'm interested to know as you have a Brinklow boat that's been built using the plans from a working boat, has it been built with a 7ft beam or a 6ft 10" beam??

Let's not spoil a reasonable discussion with silly /nationalist/racist stereo types please.
Racist Good God. Gone are the days when people quite happily laughed at themselves. I take it then that the Englishmen, Irishman and Scotsman jokes are racist as well.

and yet Tony's invaluable posts on the working boats and waterways of the North are now gone because those who feel the need to be outraged insisted on reading his hobby horse posts.
Two cheers for the oversensitive flowers who have destroyed this forum.
His opinions on CRT never affected me because I exercised my right not to read them.
Very well said

These are Sabina villas aren’t they, this was Liddell dock that ran across Horton road and up past Uxbridge football club. In the late 50s early sixties my dad can remember pelting sunken wooden sabey boats with his catapult. My family are all from Yiewsley and my grandparents worked on sabey boats my grt grandfather being a tug driver and my Nan’s brother working on the crane unloading boats.
