Ariel is very similar under the water to Python and Own, being a Yarwoods built boat for Midlands & Coast.
The bottom was replaced with steel and has the same step. I can't tell you about the front (half) as that sank and was scrapped in the 60's or 70's.

Food should be kept at a constant temp whilst in the fridge so turning it off isnt a good idea , i read its about 4 hours as long as the door is kept closed, best if it can be left on

Dont moor up where the trip boat used to berth , kids use it as a meeting place . we were there in august and got woken up at 6am by one of the scrotes running on the boat roof and then proceeded to throw off one of our fold up chairs off the roof of the boat into the river, by the time we had got out of the boat they were sat down on the bench chatting away as bold as brass , hed of ended up in the river if id of caught him doing it , i was livid to say the least

Well , weve had the fridge installed by a gas fitter friend to run off gas, we tried it in the week for a couple of hours with a carbon monoxide detector positioned very near the fridge , and all seems well , said gas fitter said hel " vent it " when we get back off our two week trip out if we require it ,wel see how it goes when we cruise next friday

We have a flat screen tv which worked well off the old aerial before the digital switch ,my question is now we have to use a freeview box to view but the picture is very poor- virtually non existent, is it just a case of getting a new digital aerial to get a good picture quality again ?

Weve just had ours repaired to work it off 12v, as weve got 4 leisure batteries we should have ample power to run the fridge on , on using 12v only do we need the exhaust pipe ?

Although if he came through the tunnel at the wrong time, he must have been contravening BW rules even if not the actual bye-laws. If so, does anybody know what is the maximum penalty?
boat seizure maybe ?

The bridgewater canal looks like a rough sea . frothy white waves and blowing a gale , the boat is rocking and rolling
