Hedgepig

I'm a Warwickshire lass and even after more than 20 years in 'the Smoke' I'm still very much a country girl at heart. Grew up in a small village between Stratford upon Avon and Banbury and spent many happy times on both cut and river, as well as tearing it up through the forests and fields of my youth.

I've been volunteering at the Pirate Castle in Camden (by far my favourite place in London!) for 7 years - I skipper trips on our community narrowboats and have also been known to jump in a kayak. After spending almost half of my life saving and dreaming of living afloat I finally bought Grub in January '09 and have been living the dream (and all the hard work that goes with it!) ever since. I love my boat!
