Ok thats what i thought,that way there is no way of having 2 supplies to the 230 volt circuit at the same time

Hi looking to fit a 1800 watt inverter,the boat has shore line 230 v via plug and lead,could i connect to the inverter using same plug and lead so that could not have shore and inverter working together Mike
