If so, what would be the point of it? Atmospheric pollution is the reason for diesel cars being banned. The electricity still needs to be generated. CO2, Nox etc will still be produced, just not in our city centres. A non-problem on the canals.
A power station generating enough electricity to move a boat 20 miles produces a lot less pollution than running a diesel engine on the boat to mvoe it 20 miles.

Why would you want to inspect the inside of a plastic poo tank?

even when it is obvious that someone is lying, we can't call them out on it?
You are such a Nig Nog, Athy.

People who do not speak English are not a race so it is not racist, get your facts right before you shout your mouth off.

Actually, he didn't say that. He said he didn't get an answer from four of them, and the fifth one directed him politely.
Not in the OP he didn't, he said "30 minute walk into town, no help from locals (none English speakers)"

Approximately zero = more than zero.
Therefore you agree there is a chance of this happening.
There is a chance that if I walk at a wall, all of the atoms in my body will align with all of the atoms in the wall in such a way that I will be able to walk straight through the wall.

I calculate the probability of approaching five consecutive people in Burton on a Saturday evening and finding none of them to speak English to be approximately zero.
Maybe he should have asked one of the lads peeing in the doorways. They were pretty much guaranteed to be British.

I have already asked for your evidence they are making anything up. Care to have a go at proving he is making anything up?
My evidence is that it isn't even slightly believable. Try asking him for some evidence that none of the locals he came across spoke English..

As someone whose customer base is 90% ethnic I find your comments very offensive, if you do not like what I write do not read or reply
So why did you make up a story about none of the locals talking English?

This is what Mr Fish probably meant to say, but he's been having a bad day.
No, I wouldn't welcome more right wing people. The forum has enough already.

Because of the five people we asked how to get to town centre the only awnser we got was from a very nice lady, who I expect by accent was not from UK, polish I would imagine, I am giving my observations of the place, and mine were bad
Try to give your observations without making shit up. Personally I will discount the rest of your observations as you chose to lie to make it sound worse and slip in your racist agenda.

I quite often sing whilst cruising along on my boat. Could the good people of this forum let me know what licence/insurance need to continue doing this?

I wouldn't see any need to go as far north as possible, north of Milton Keynes should be enough. As Mike says, Braunston and the surrounding area is a good place to start.

Ask the 200,000+ boaters that are not on C&RTs waterways.
And - many of them don't even have a (shock horror) a BSSC OR a licence !!!
Yes, that was my point...

Would the insurance be valid, for an unlicensed boat?
Is it possible to insure a boat that isn't on CRT waters?

Thanks all for replying.
I was going to use a broker to sell as I could do with a quick sale, but was advised to put it in the appollo duck site as thats all a broker will do. Question is: When you sell a house you use a solicitor to exchange moneys. how do you safely exchange money when selling a boat?
Haha. Maybe try a broker?

Thanks for your replies. I don't think l explained our problem properly. We are in a very bad reception area and need the internal booster box with an ordinary aerial . The booster box is 240v and we want to go completely 12v so am wondering if we need a different external aerial?
Buy a 12v booster
-
No, any TV aerial should work the same between 240v & 12v TV's

Why does it matter?

MtB, I think you enjoy complaining about forum software! I'm sure you would hate the software on Thunderboat. When you go to a new page it takes you to the bottom so you than have to scroll to the top just to read the next post!
It doesn't do that for me.

Selling with most brokers is not the issue.....they earn money from a seller......not a buyer
They wouldn't earn much without any buyers...

I've bought and sold through Great Haywood. I found them to be very good, much more helpful than the other brokers I tried to deal with.

I understand (sort of) the need to upgrade for technical reasons under the bonnet, but I refuse to accept tightening security forced Invision to make the user interface so complicated to understand and extravagantly wasteful of precious screen estate.
I don't think the "upgrade" had any security implications. The log in and sign up pages are still unsecured.

I stand corrected. Most people of course do not licence their own boats. I for instance licence fifty peoples boats for free who are forum members because I am nice like that. Suffice to say that HMRC have seen it all and are far and away cleverer than you or I and have far more means at their disposal to check us all out should they so wish.
So do you have some evidence that CaRT tell HMRC every time a boat gets a new keeper?
