    Since having to take an early retirement, I've developed a keen interest in canal system network, together with the very colourful narrowboats that use them. As a very keen digital photographer I have taken many good images of both moored or passing narrowboats, when walking along the towpaths of the Bridgewater canal.

About Me

Although I have a very keen interest in our canal system and the very colourful Narrowboats. I am now no longer in a position to purchase a Narrowboat of any discription, but I can dream about it. I have over the last few years, made a few half day trips onboard the New Horizens, a boat that was specially adapted for the use of the disabled people of Stockport, where I used to live.

Even though I am now slightly disabled, I can still enjoy short walks along the towpath of the Bridgewater canals where it passes through Sale. Sometimes stopping to take photographs of moored or passing narrowboats.

When I have a bit more time to spare, I hope to be able to post some of my photographs on this profile.
