The plan is to moor overnight on Friday at Merry Hill where boaters have a choice of venues for food and drink etc.

Saturday morning, boats will descend the Delph Locks and cruise to Lays junction where they will turn right onto the Fens Branch of the Stourbridge Canal.

 

Boats will moor in the trans-shipment arm (part of the Stourbridge Extension Canal) or on the Fens branch itself (dependent upon numbers attending). Boats are welcome to explore further up the Fens Branch to the limit of navigation.

Low key Saturday evening with boaters just socialising amongst themselves as there are no facilities.

Sunday – boats disperse.
