Fitted the steel guard..

It's almost disappeared from view but it's in there doing it's job. It was really hard to fit on my own, it's fairly heavy and holding it up in place while marking for fitting holes and then screwing and bolting up took an age.. The flue for the stove cuts into the side of the cupboard so i've made the steel guard to keep the flue out of the cupboard and shield it. I've also lagged the flue with exhaust lagging, though this may not have been necessary but I had some so decided to use it. It's turned out rather well and is now safe to use. I've yet to get a sheet of fire board but when I do i'll look to cover some of the wood around the fire and maybe near the flue though this will only be to ensure the BSS chap is happy.

The laptop did just about let me load the picture, though I had to insert the card about ten times...
