Refitting the stove and the gas on Sleepy Hollow..
My brother, with the help of our Dad and 2 friends, fitted the gas pipes and the cooker in Sleepy Hollow. The chap who did the pipe bending did his usual neat job, he's had quite a bit of experience. My brother had hoped to use the hob straight away but realised that he had left the part the kettle sits on at home.... I escaped this job but it seems he had enough help without me...
I re-fitted the solid fuel stove in Casper. I had taken all the parts home and cleaned them and painted the stove. A new collar was acquired and fitted.

The stove looking like new. "Bones" had given me a fireproof ceiling piece which is fitted but it needs some trimming yet. It was one that she had spare, i'm not sure how she ended up with one spare?? She must have known how many stoves she had, anyway it looks better than the horrible hole that it covers so thank you to Bones...
Our work was stopped short as my friend offered to fix the hole in my Armstrong Siddeley diesel tank this afternoon and I was only too happy to let him...
