  3. Ever heard the saying "where theres no sence? Anyone with a differing view to Moley is actually Me, or should I say Us lol It gets worse on here every day Lol Enjoy ya pint
  4. Are you willing to tell us where you are based, Just incase, as Hurleston is dangerously close to the cowboy builder in the case above, it could be you? Quote "monies i loose". edited to say You spell like Garry Peacock

  9. Pirate I have Pm` d you. Love your style, Love your team, Most predictable and reliable, I’m sure
  10. If you find that the builder has done anything illegal, but that is doubtfull. Go to the police first, once you have started civil proceedings the police will say you that you cant have two bites of the apple, its one or the other. Bear in mind also the police are free, getting £26 K back will set you back IMO about £6000 at the very least if you are lucky, but most probaby twice this. Bankruptcy protects them so I doubt you have an option.
  11. I dissagree a bust builder isnt worth sueing and infact cant be, a bad builder just maybe
  12. Which is it? The two are not necessarily connected.A builder may be a superb craftsman but a lousy businessman. Probably that's the reason most go bust IMHO. Lack of tight control of cashflow; the number one killer of businesses.Chris Nope never mentioned builders going bust, thats your assumption, anyway Does it matter if you lose your money?Look its only MHO, people can do as they please but you have to admit its hard to know whos who and whether you will get your boat or not, you obviously had some worries since you did these checks, others dont do them. You were obviously with a good builder. If I can save others I`m happy to warn them that there is only one sure way to sleep easy at night and be safe. I think most of the early problems will have been sorted
  13. Its a good idea I`m not mocking it, its just theres many ways for builders to screw you, its possible they could have good accounts, its good advice, but not for me, you wouldnt catch me lineing another builders pockets lol no matter how many checks I made, like I said its a gamble. I`ve met so many dissheartend people that have had bad new boats, IMO theres only one solution to be safe. I cant believe how many people I met complaining about their bad builds. When its too late. It doesnt seem to be rare thing.
  14. Mmmm yes Chris all very very easy indeed. Are you going to do it and lay out your hard earned cash then? Nice advice but would you do it with your cash? If thats enough to satisfy your mind to pay out large amounts of cash fine, It doesnt gaurantee anything for sure. A crooks a crook mate. With what I now know it wouldnt satisfy my mind. Do as ya please everyone, I`ve had my taste
  15. Yes agreed before you purchase its usefull, but It`s too late if you have been burnt, best you can do then is hope they aint ltd.
