Have just skipped through it and noticed that it says that a battery with a hydrometer reading in the red "has had it". NO, without further tests like rested voltage all one can say is that it is well discharged. It only becomes "had it" if there is a variation of more than about 0.03 between cells, if the rested voltage is indicating a well charged battery while the hydrometers  says discharged (sulphation), or sufficient charging does not bring the reading up.
