Titivate The Cratch

Ahem, now that's got your attention....

 

 

I have a moroon cratch that's starting to fade.

 

It's still got a few years in it - are there any rejuvinators of the cratch material to spruce it up a bit. I may try some shoe type polish.

 

Below image is quite old - before it started to fade.

Looks like canvas?  If so, then you could try something like this:

It states it’s UV stable.

We've used Renovo canopy cleaner and restorer which comes in a range of colours.

I’ve used Fabsil too but did you find it restored the colour?

Is it canvas or is it pvc coated material?  I suspect it's the former if it's fading, in which case one of the car soft top  treatments should work, although the good ones like Auto Glym I've used on a roadster are not cheap and you'll need 2 packs.  If its the latter, like my cratch cover, I think you're stuffed once it goes all 'orrible.

Renovo also do a `plastic` window renovator,really effective,but not cheap,I used it in my old Reliant 2 seater sports car.????

My cover has shrunk and now the zips are to far apart....anyone now if it can be restreched or another solution ?
