alan_fincher
Quote CRT are happy to register this as part of another boat, no separate licence, BSS or mooring required as long as connected, but not necessarily permanently, so can be disconnected for cruising, if required. Currently registered as as part of my widebeam, making it 52ft instead of 40ft . Yeah right!
Alan de Enfield
This 'boat' (butty / workshop / store / Disabled Buggy Garage) with hydraulic ramps and 'lid' required a separate licence but as C&RT didn't know what to call it they registered & licensed it as a canoe. You can see the reg-plate and licence (+ a letter confirming its status) stuck on the side (see pics) Victoria Plum's Garage Built by Unknown - Length : 3.66 metres ( 12 feet ) - Beam : 2.03 metres ( 6 feet 8 inches ) - Draft : 0.45 metres ( 1 foot 6 inches ). Metal hull N/A . Registered with Canal & River Trust number 507115 as an Unpowered Unpowered Craft. roland elsdon
If I ever tried to licence all my butty boats at once I'd be in trouble I can think of 5 on that things criteria . One could be described as stone built butty with throne and shelf storage for garden tools, running water and heating. Needs cosmetic attention to superstructure.
