Trent and Mersey bridge 181

Billinge Green, Cheshire. Is anyone familiar with this area? I've tried Google but it's not conclusive. Trying to work out whether I might be able to wheel my motor bike from the towpath onto Davenham Road at this bridge. An incline onto the road (without steps) would be fine.

Probably. There is foot access to the road on the NW side of the bridge, whether there us clearance at the top I'm not certain.

 

Failing that you might be able to wheel it through the grounds of Park Farm Marina (which, if your map is more than a couple of years old, is also NW of that bridge. 

 

There would be good road access at 184.

Go a bit further north and there's excellent access at the Broken Cross pub.

I checked this afternoon and there is a good path leading down from the road to the towpath, it runs down at an angle from the bridge so not to steep. But as Liam said the Broken Cross is better.
