I chanced upon a remarkable EBay seller while searching out some brass screws. 

Operating out of a little hardware shop in Kibworth near Leicester he sells hard to find bits all over the world via eBay - from Tilley lamp mantles to leather cup washers to Whitworth bolts to screws, nails and just general odd stuff. He's sold bifurcated rivers (whatever they are) to Sydney Opera House, brass machine screws to the USA etc etc. 

And rose headed copper nails to me. 

Well worth a trawl through his eBay shop 'hootflipflopandfly'
