Who needs gym membership when you've got a boat

Not done 43 locks solo in one day but,I agree that you don't need gym membership when you have a boat.

Brought "Popsie" from Furness Vale to Huddersfield solo the long way round due to the closure of the Marple flight.[117 miles,150 locks] found on arriving at Huddersfield that my trousers kept falling down!  Jumping on the scales I found I had lost half a stone!

Thinking of doing that trip again,to see if I can lose another half stone.

Do the trip the other way round and put it all back on!!

Sadly,I have now put the half stone back on without doing anything.

Another long trip is on the cards when water levels improve a bit.
