Monochrome emojis

There seems to be a a spate of people like myself who are being presented with mono emojis.  Mine are mono but are seen by others as coloured.  I seem most coloured but the occasional one posted is mono.  What is going wrong and how do I correct it please?

The test emoji in the above posthe is yellow. Perhaps you are suffering from intermittent colour blindness? ?

Strangely the emojis posted by everyone have been in colour apart from the one above (after blindness) it is mono.

It's just your perception - not everything in life is black and white.

Interesting the top emoji is mono the bottom colour.  How?

The top emoji is an Apple one (the ones that we got access to after the last site update) and the bottom one is from the original lot we had before the site software update. The new emojis can be a little temperamental.

By that I assume you mean sometimes I am presented with colour and sometimes mono.  At least that is what seems to be happening some days colour some days mono.

 

I have found, way down at the bottom 45 coloured things labelled emoticons.  That seems to be fewer than we had before, all I need now is to get the coloured ones to the top so I can ignore the hoards of daft mono ones.

I've never had any monomojis but I know some people can't see them at all they just see a little empty box. So I don't use the new one as often as I might have. I'm not sure that you can move the old ones to the top - I could be wrong, it's not unheard of . It's funny you should say there are less of the older emojis - I thought that too, but I couldn't work out what was missing.
