Hi

I am on the look out for a generator and have come across these

Seems like a new brand. dual fuel,Hyundai engine, 1800w £449 delivered.

Does any body know anything about these? have looked on the P1PE website but they don't even show them

Be careful not to get baffled by bullshit;

 

It is rated at 1600w continuous (not 1800w)

 

What are you hoping to power with it ?

Just Power tools mainly Battery charger and small stuff the size is more than I need really but it seems like a good buy with it being dual fuel

I smell a rat. Googling the model returns NO results.

Lots of dirt cheap rebranded/unknown brand inverter generators now available starting at about £100 so this is an expensive one. Spec says petrol so the gas option might require an expensive add on kit??? You need to check this out. These should be regarded as consumable items, when it goes wrong you throw it away, they don't get fixed.

 

Had an injection pump failure winter before last, mtb lent me a generator that cost a lot less than this one and it did a good job. This one is a bit like the £2000 old banger, its probably going to break but its a bit too costly to be a throw away purchase. Either get a Honda or a real cheapo????

Just before you do - what brand & sized battery charger do you have ?

 

Depending on the battery charger and the Power Factor you will struggle with a 'big' battery charger.
