Three Miles Up (canal ghost story)

This is a film of a short story, written in 1951 by Elizabeth Jane Howard who was part of the embryo IWA in the post war era. It looks to me that it was filmed on the Nene, perhaps somebody could confirm. Elizabeth Jane Howard was married to Peter Scott & I believe had a fling with Robert Acikman.

Thanks for posting this, I have not seen this for years.

All set on Great Ouse. 11.00 is Wissington Sugar beet factory on the River Wissey. 16.40 is Hemmingford Lock on the Great Ouse. End bit is on the tidal great Ouse.
