And possibly longer. I first saw this dayglo bottle in 2014, just north of Engineer's Wharf, Northolt in London. I passed it by yesterday on the way from Hanwell (1 hour 40 minutes to do the flight) to Paddington.

 

Good to see some things remain, even if its just a plastic bottle on a stick.

Not so much a potato but more speed blur from me hurtling past at a heady 3 knots!

Oh, how about that! After all this time, I never realised it actually served a purpose. I would certainly not remove it, its a great positional marker.
