Has Spring Sprung?

Featured Posts

As noted elsewhere, cuckoos here for a week, frogs started singing away in the stream at the foot of the hill, and yesterday we saw our first swallow of the year. Walking by the river Gartempe we photographed the wild flowers: stitchwort, anemones, lungwort, campions and early purple orchids. Spring is definitely here. Only 14c today, but 26c forecast for later in the week, if one was to believe forecasts :)

That’s because you are not far away!  I noticed Reg when I emptied the ash can before leaving the marina.

I wondered if that was you! There are a lot of boats on the system called Firefly though.

Hence my uncertainty.

I wonder if anyone has called their boat 'Ecofan'?

That'll be a one off then!

If the engine just spins the prop round and round and makes no progress it would be well named.

Had my first trip of the year on Saturday.  Only a couple of hours or so but it did feel good.

Back to being poisoned to within an inch of my life tomorrow.

I'll organise some more sunshine for your next trip. Best wishes!
