A good frost this morning.

A beautiful clear sky and still air. There is feeling that spring may be trying to arrive - but certainly not summer.

It is most certainly spring.

First group trip to West Stockwith of the year this weekend. A sure sign that people are coming out of hibernation and waking their boats up.

Still a bit cold for a bbq though so we have convinced The Waterside to keep us well fed with a selection of curries and sides.

Boating simply doesnt get any better than today. Bright blue skies, low winds and no waiting at locks  In fact Simon the landlord at the Steamboat saw me coming today and nipped out and helped the missus with the gates how good is that

Well despite 2mm of ice all over the marina this morning, we managed our escape after lunch and got parked up by the Folly not long after. Still a bit parky out there but luverly pie in the Folly tonight.
