jeanb
From today's Times in their register section there is a a headline "The day two narrowboats became one" about a couple met on the cut and married at All Saints Church in Alrewas on 27 February 2018. We enjoyed the story, and wish them all the best. The accompanying photo showed the couple passing under an arch of boathooks and bargepoles on leaving the church. zenataomm
Are you saying they wouldn't touch each other with a bargepole?

Mac of Cygnet
I once came back to the boat and found this scene, with a wedding photographer. Haven't the foggiest idea who they were.

MHS
We met this happy couple on the Curdworth flight back in July. Earlier in the day we had seen a boat called Third Time Lucky and wondered if it was apt.

pearley
If you moor at Holliday Street in Birmingham wedding photographers using your boat as a backdrop is pretty normal, it only being 50 yards from the Registrar Office Edited March 18, 2018 by pearley

All the boaters caused gridlock on the cut trying to let the photographer get a "group" photos.
Cheshire cat
At least your boat was suitably tidy Mac.
