I will keep an eye out

You will also need to be aware that the canal drops into the river Cherwell at Bakers lock, Enslow and follows the river for half a mile or so before getting back to man made at Shipton Weir lock.  That can be fun when the river is up (maybe best to wait)

I had email from CRT saying that Nell Bridge is impassable with 1.5m headroom so I think you are right.

Nell bridge is like a yo yo and can drop overnight. Just been down to the Erewash and only a poxy canoe would be able to get onto it at the moment such is the level. It has been lots higher mind in the past.

We are hoping to go down the south Oxford too. If we can get past the stoppage near Hillmorton

Kelpie has just passed her BSS

We thought she would but you never know what an examiner will find

Usually the ramp onto the pontoon goes downwards from the car park

Glad our moorings are flood protected even though the rise and fall is really very small compared to some places.
